Why Is the Air Filter Important?

Installation

1. Switch off the motorcycle and allow the engine to cool completely.
2. Access the airbox according to the motorcycle's service procedure.
3. Remove the existing air filter carefully.
4. Clean loose dirt from the airbox without allowing debris to enter the intake.
5. Install the replacement filter in the same orientation as the original.
6. Make sure the filter is seated correctly before closing the airbox.
