Top Cases, Bags & Luggage Racks

Everything for carrying more on a Zontes: aluminium and ABS top cases from 45 to 65 litres, tail bags and tunnel bags, handlebar and crash bar bags, a 40-litre backpack, and the racks, adapter plates and side case frames that hold it all on the bike.

Start with the rack

A top case is only as good as what it is bolted to. Scooters and adventure models usually need a model-specific rear rack or adapter plate before any case will fit, and the plate decides which brand of case you can use: SHAD, GIVI Monokey and Monolock, and universal plates are not interchangeable. If your bike already has a factory rack, check its hole pattern against the case's base plate. Side cases need their own frames, which are listed here for the 703F.

How much space you really need

A 45-litre case takes one full-face helmet and a jacket, or two open-face helmets. For two full-face helmets look at 55 litres and up. Aluminium cases are tougher and can be locked to the plate; soft tail bags weigh almost nothing, expand when you need them and come off in seconds, which suits bikes without a rack. Handlebar and crash bar bags keep tools, a puncture kit and rain gear out of the main luggage.
