The 703RR is Zontes' first serious sportbike and shares its 699 cc inline three-cylinder DOHC engine with the 703F adventure. Output is quoted between 95 and 102 hp depending on market and model year, fed by a ram-air intake, with a quickshifter as standard. The frame is Zontes' own aluminium twin-spar design with integrated main and subframe - the main structure weighs 12 kg - paired with a forged multi-link rear suspension that is rare in this class, adjustable Marzocchi units and Michelin Power 6 tyres. The dash is a large colour TFT with power modes and a lap timer, and an A2-restricted version is available in Europe.

Buying for a sportbike, not a commuter

The accessory list here looks nothing like the rest of the Zontes range. Full fairing and winglets mean crash protection has to be fairing-specific: frame sliders that mount through the bodywork, plus bar-end sliders, swingarm spools and axle sliders. Track use drives the second cluster - paddock stands, tyre warmers, fairing bolt kits, and a tail tidy for road-legal number plate relocation. Ergonomics is the third: the riding position is genuinely committed, closer to an Aprilia RS660 than a sport tourer, so tank grips, rearsets, adjustable levers and gel seat pads all sell into the same rider.

Fitment and a note on expectations

Products here cover the ZT703-RR and the "703 RR" spacing used by some dealers. Reviewers have consistently praised the value while noting that fuelling on load changes, the quickshifter calibration and the electronics at the limit are not yet at the level of established European manufacturers - which is why slip-on exhausts, ECU-adjacent parts and lever upgrades attract more interest on this bike than on most. Check the model year on each product page: bodywork revisions between years affect fairing-mounted parts.
