Installation
Installation
- Park the motorcycle securely and let the exhaust cool completely.
- Remove the original muffler and its mounting hardware.
- Fit the front link pipe to the header section.
- Slide the muffler onto the link pipe and loosely install the mounting bracket.
- Align the muffler, then tighten clamps and brackets securely.
- Start the engine and check for exhaust leaks.
- Recheck all fasteners after the first ride.
Important: The exhaust becomes very hot during and after riding. Only work on a cold motorcycle. Aftermarket exhausts may not be road legal in all regions; use the DB killer and observe local noise regulations.
