Installation
Installation
- Park the scooter securely on a stable surface and let the exhaust cool completely.
- Locate the original mounting points for the selected part.
- Remove the original bolts at the mounting points.
- Position the crash bar and install the supplied hardware without fully tightening it.
- Check alignment and clearance to bodywork, exhaust, wheels and stand.
- Tighten all bolts evenly and securely.
- Recheck the fasteners after the first few rides.
Important: Only install the exhaust guard on a cold motorcycle. Crash bars help reduce damage in minor drops and cannot prevent all damage in a serious collision.
