Protection and Comfort
The rider's hands are directly exposed to airflow, rain, insects and road debris during normal riding. These handguards create an additional barrier in front of the grips and levers to help reduce direct exposure and improve riding comfort.
Their ABS shells provide lightweight coverage while the steel mounting brackets support the guards around the handlebar area.
Installation
- Park the motorcycle securely on a stable surface.
- Identify the corresponding left and right handlebar mounting positions.
- Position the steel brackets according to the motorcycle's control layout.
- Attach the ABS handguard shells to the corresponding brackets.
- Install all mounting hardware loosely before final adjustment.
- Align both guards and tighten all fasteners evenly and securely.
- Turn the handlebars fully in both directions and confirm there is no interference with brake or clutch levers, cables, switches or surrounding components.
Important: After installation, confirm that the brake and clutch levers can move through their full range without contacting the handguards. Recheck all mounting hardware periodically.
