Stability and Protection
The original side stand has a relatively small contact area, which can allow it to sink into softer surfaces when the motorcycle is parked. This extension pad increases the support area to help distribute the motorcycle's weight over a larger surface.
The enlarged footprint is particularly useful when parking on grass, gravel, compacted soil or asphalt softened by high temperatures.
Installation
- Park the motorcycle securely on a stable surface.
- Clean the original side stand foot and remove dirt or debris.
- Position the extension pad around the original kickstand foot.
- Align the upper and lower sections with the supplied mounting points.
- Install the mounting hardware and tighten all fasteners evenly.
- Fold and extend the side stand several times to confirm free movement.
