About Crash Protection & Guards
Most of the damage a motorcycle picks up happens at walking pace: a tip-over in a car park, a stone thrown up by the front wheel, a boot catching a lever. This collection gathers the parts that take those hits instead of the bike - crash bars and engine guards, frame and axle sliders, swingarm spools, radiator and water pump guards, fork guards, handguards, lever guards, and covers for ABS sensors, turn signals, fog lights, brake calipers and fluid reservoirs.
Where to start
Think about what touches the ground first. On an adventure bike or scooter that is the crash bar, so bar-mounted sliders are cheap insurance. On a naked or sport bike it is the engine cases, fork bottoms and levers, which is what frame sliders, axle sliders and lever guards are for. A radiator guard matters on any bike that sees gravel or motorway debris, because a holed radiator ends the ride. Sensor, light and reservoir guards are small parts, but the components they cover are exposed and expensive to replace.
Fitment
Almost everything here is model-specific: mounting points differ between the 703, 368, 350 and 125 families, and sometimes between model years. Each product page lists the exact Zontes models it fits. A few clamp-on parts, such as crash bar sliders, are sized by tube diameter instead, so measure your bars before ordering.
